After 40 years of fixing soles, stitching leather, and breathing in the familiar smell of polish, I knew one thing: cobbling has been my life’s work. I’ve dedicated my days to this craft, and it’s been a rewarding journey. But as I’ve gotten older, I started thinking more about the future—not just mine, but my family’s too.
My kids have spent plenty of time around the shop, learning the trade, but being a cobbler isn’t easy. It’s hard work, it takes time, and it’s not for everyone. So, I got to thinking. What could I pass down that carried the values of quality and craftsmanship but didn’t demand the same physical toll? Something that could help more people care for their shoes but wouldn’t require hours of practice to get it right. That’s when the idea for America’s Cobbler came to life.
I knew that if I was going to put my name on something, it had to stand for the best. That’s why I partnered with Angelus Brand, an American-made brand that shares my commitment to quality.
